1. Agreement to Terms

Welcome to SushiLab.ai. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. Such changes will take effect immediately upon posting the updated Terms on the website. Your continued use of the services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of our services, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, features, and functionality — including but not limited to code, design, text, graphics, logos, trademarks, and more — are owned by SushiLab.ai (operated by UXVision Ltd.) or its partners and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

5. License & Usage Restrictions

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and use the services for personal and non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

You agree not to:

Use the services unlawfully or for illegal purposes
Infringe on our or any third party's intellectual property rights
Gain unauthorized access to our systems or networks
Distribute viruses or other malicious code
Engage in reverse engineering or disassembly of the services
Use outputs for regulated professional advice (medical, legal, financial) without human oversight

6. AI-Generated Content

You are responsible for your prompts, inputs, and how you use AI-generated outputs.
AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or biased. You must verify outputs before relying on them.
You must ensure you have the rights to any content you upload as inputs.
You must not create deepfakes, non-consensual intimate content, or content impersonating real individuals without authorization.
You must not generate hate speech, harassment, or content promoting violence.
You must not attempt to jailbreak, bypass, or circumvent AI safety measures.
We reserve the right to refuse, filter, or remove content, and to suspend accounts that repeatedly violate these Terms.
If you believe your intellectual property has been infringed, contact us at hello@sushilab.ai with details and we will investigate.

6a. Ownership of AI-Generated Characters & Commercial Use

Ownership and commercial-use rights for AI-generated storytellers, characters, voices, and likenesses depend on your subscription plan:

Free (Discover) accounts: generated characters and outputs are provided for personal, non-commercial preview and evaluation only. Free users do not receive legal ownership of, or a commercial-use license for, any AI-generated character, voice, likeness, or derivative content. Such outputs may not be used in advertising, paid promotion, monetized channels, products for sale, or any other commercial context.
Paid plans (Starter, Pro, Business, Enterprise): subject to compliance with these Terms and payment in good standing, you receive a commercial-use license for content generated within your active subscription, and — where the plan explicitly grants it — legal ownership of exclusive storytellers acquired through the Storyteller Marketplace.
Shared (non-exclusive) storytellers remain the property of SushiLab.ai and are licensed to you on a non-exclusive basis for use within your plan.
Rights granted under a paid plan terminate or revert to non-commercial preview rights if your subscription lapses, is downgraded to Free, or is terminated for breach.

7. User Content

When you upload or create content using our services, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, distribute, create derivative works from, display and perform the content in connection with the services.

8. Limitation of Warranty

The services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. We expressly disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall SushiLab.ai be liable to you or any third party for direct, indirect, special, punitive, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the services. Our aggregate liability is limited to the total fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Payment & Subscriptions

Payments are processed securely through PayPal. PayPal handles payment processing, subscription billing, and transaction security. SushiLab.ai does not store your credit card or bank details.

11. Credits

The Service uses a credit-based system. Credits are consumed when generating content. Credit balances, pricing, and allocation are described on our Pricing page. Unused credits may expire according to your plan terms.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SushiLab.ai, its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, responsibilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the services, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for:

Material breach of these Terms
Non-payment of fees
Security or fraud risk
Repeated or serious policy violations

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. You may export your data within 30 days of termination, after which it may be deleted.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute shall be brought before the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa.
